Looking for a boat/home was fun. We had been to the Annapolis Boat Show in October, and back again to Annapolis in November. We had narrowed our search to a few manufacturers: Passport, Oyster and Hylas. As we planned a trip to Boston to look at a Passport and Oyster they were both sold. Not liking our choices in Annapolis we contacted a broker in FL to see an Oyster.

We flew to Ft Lauderdale to look at the Oyster. Our broker, John Earle suggested we also look at a Hylas 54’ that was not on the market yet. It was love at first sight.
