Extra, Extra - Bistari’s on the Front Cover!

Fifteen minutes of fame

After several practice sails and much time spent learning new systems, we were ready for shakedown cruise. Brisk northerly winds were forecasted, making Key West an ideal target. Lake Bluff sailing/racing friends, John and Pricilla Simons were joining us to assist and coach in blue water sailing.

And just like that, Bistari was the featured cover story of The Power Squadron’s Fall 2022 issue! John kept a wonderful blog of our trip and submitted it to The Ensign for publication. Thank you, John and Pricilla!
