Arrived just before sunset, traversed the raced course to our anchorage outside Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club. Experienced heavy mud but anchor eventually held.
Plan to explore Sandy Hook for a few days while waiting for wind to Block Island RI. Hoping to have VIP guests Augie, Sarah and Andrew😁

It’s special having good friends in port. Enjoyed dinner with Michelle Casazza, friend and fellow sailor. Michelle is from Sandy Hook and has great local knowledge. Over dinner at 2nd Jetty she shared her sailing adventure to Antarctica and Santorini. We capped the evening with Italian Ice. A fun evening!
